About Our Founder
Meet Seth, the founder of TheSurveyPlug — a Harlem native, 9-5er, and longtime paid market research participant who turned years of experience into a beginner-friendly program.
Seth is the owner and founder of TheSurveyPlug. A Harlem native and 9-5er, Seth has participated in paid market research for more than 15 years. He was first exposed to paid market research by his mother, who participated in surveys and focus groups as a way to earn extra income.
After experiencing paid market research firsthand, Seth continued participating throughout college and beyond. He saw how surveys, focus groups, and paid studies could become a practical way for people to make additional income in their spare time.
In 2021, Seth started tracking his income from paid market research more seriously. He realized he had made thousands of dollars through paid surveys and studies, and that many people simply did not know where to begin.
In 2022, Seth turned his experience into a program that could help others get started. What began as a small group of people interested in paid surveys grew into TheSurveyPlug — a resource built to make paid research more approachable for beginners.
Making Paid Research Easier to Understand
TheSurveyPlug was created to help people who are curious about paid surveys, focus groups, and market research but do not know where to start. Seth wanted to make the process easier, more organized, and beginner-friendly.
